- Trafficking in Oxycodone is committed when a person knowingly possesses, sells, purchases, manufactures, delivers, or transports 7 grams or more of oxycodone.
- The trafficking weight is determined by the total weight of the Oxycodone pills, not by how much Oxycodone is in the pills.
- First-Degree Felony
- Penalties: MM – 3 years prison/$50,000 fine; Up to 30 years
- Between 7 and 14 grams of Oxycodone
- Penalties: MM – 7 years prison/$100,000 fine; Up to 30 years
- Between 14 and 25 grams of Oxycodone
- Penalties: MM – 15 years prison/$500,000 fine; Up to 30 years
- Between 25 and 100 grams of Oxycodone
- Penalties: MM – 25 years prison/$750,000 fine; Up to 30 years
- Between 100 grams and 30 kilograms of Oxycodone
