MDMA (Ecstasy/Molly)

Possession:
Any possession of MDMA is a Third-Degree Felony in the State of Florida.
Penalties: Up to five years in prison, five years of probation, and a $5,000 fine.
If an individual possesses 10 grams or more of MDMA, it is prosecuted as Trafficking MDMA.
The weight is not determined by how much pure MDMA there is, but how much the mixture which includes the MDMA weighs.

Sale/Distribution:
Sale or distribution is when an individual sells, manufactures, or distribute MDMA; or possesses MDMA with intent to sell, manufacture, or distribute.
Second Degree Felony
Penalties: Up to 15 years in prison, 15 years of probation, and a $10,000 fine.

Trafficking:
When a person knowingly possesses, sells, purchases, manufactures, delivers, or transports 10 grams or more of MDMA.
Trafficking weight is determined by the total weight of the MDMA pills, not by how much pure MDMA is in the pills.
First Degree Felony
Penalties: MM - 3 years prison/$50,000 fine; Up to 30 years prison
Between 10 and 200 grams of MDMA
Penalties: MM - 7 years prison/$100,000 fine; Up to 30 years prison
Between 200 and 400 grams of MDMA
Penalties: MM - 15 years prison/$500,000 fine; Up to 30 years prison
Between 400 grams and 30 kilograms of MDMA
